SUMMER HIATUS

That is what I am calling my lack of blogging.  No big reason, just haven't wanted to do it.  We have had a great summer.  Family vacation, relaxing, and getting into our new routine.  So, I am hoping to do some catching up over the next few hours while B and Riley sleep (I watch her during the day for our cousins).  I am going to post by dates, so scroll down to check them out.

 After Brie dropped Riley off this morning B keep telling me "sit, sit".  I sat down and he said it again.  I asked him if he wanted to hold Riley and he said, OK.  Every time I would pick her up, he would say sit, sit.  And he loves giving her kisses.  It is so precious.  I know he will be happy when she gets a little bigger and can play.  For now he gives her toys, binky, and lots of hugs and kisses.

Phx Children's Museum

Mom, Sara and I packed up the boys and headed to the Children's Museum.  Sara had 2 free tickets she wanted to use before Drew arrived and I have been wanting to take B for awhile.  It was my first time to go and it was amazing.  I had so much fun, and I think B did too. :-) I really want to go back again, just wish it wasn't so expensive.

4th of July

It was HOT! But, we tried to make the best of it. We had our parents and siblings over for a little bbq and fireworks. Jason put up some misters in the backyard which helped a little, but it was hot that day. We enjoyed hot dogs, pasta salad, watermelon, popsicles, jello, veggies, chips, and yummy slush. All things to keep us cool. At 8:30 we headed to the park in our development and set up for the fireworks show. Tumbleweed Park does the fireworks each year for the city of Chandler and it happens to be 3/4 of a mile on the other side of the freeway so we had a perfect view of the fireworks. A monsoon rolled through about 8:30 which helped cool it down a little, but you will see in the pictures how dusty it got. The little boys did great went to bed right after they were done. What a great 4th! :-)
