Christmas Time

We had a great Christmas!  So much fun continuing and starting new traditions.  We were spoiled by everyone and got to enjoy great programs and church services reminding us the true meaning for the season.  The kids are now at a age that they are starting to get it all.  It is so fun to watch it all through their eyes.  It is the essence of joy and excitement!!

WARNING:  LOTS of pictures, I did all of December in this one post.  Enjoy!!!

We tried out Elf on the Shelf this year.  He made his grand entrance with breakfast full of goodies.  Don't know how I really feel about the whole idea, but B loved looking for him.  Every morning B would say, "come on mom, let's go downstairs and find that crazy Corduroy.

The ladies (guys wanted to watch football, shocking) took the kids to go see
our favorite lights on Cherry Street

G&G Bolkema bought the kids Christmas outfits, so it seemed perfect they wear
them to B's preschool Christmas program

Grandma & Grandpa Voss did a big house with the too.  Unfortunatley a few days after Christmas Cordoroy destroyed it so they couldn't pick it. ;-)

Church Christmas Program (Jason was incharge of the camera while I was helping in the back)
Santa even came afterwards to the back with gifts for each kid. Yes, it was quite controversial! :-)

Zoolights on the 17th for our 6 year engagment.

Crazy garage filled with Christmas houses we spotted on the way home. Amazing!
Jason was home with us for 9 days, so on his last day home we went to the zoo!
