Christmas Fun

We had such a great Christmas and feel so blessed to have such amazing family.  We all were fighting a cold, but we made the best of it and rested when we could.  It started on Friday the 23rd with my parents, sister, BIL, nephews, Nana VP, and Aunt.  Saturday we headed over to celebrate with Jason's parents and siblings and ended the fun with The De Wit's on Sunday evening.  We did squeeze in time for just the three of us too.  We ate, played, and enjoyed a lot of family!

Christmas Cookies

I wanted to spend a few hours baking cookies for our family that doesn't live in AZ and send them off before Christmas.  So the ladies spent the day baking away and we ended with having the little boys decorate.  B is just like his mommy and loves sweets.  He was trying to sneak cookies, frosting and sprinkles in the process.  The family getting B's cookies are in for a treat! :-)

It's a ......

We decided to do thing a little different this time.  We went to our ultra sound yesterday and ask the tech not to tell us the gender but right it down on a notecard for us to take home with us.  Well, we have an amazing "cupcake lady" that works with my mom.  We brought the notecard to her work and during lunch she filled the cupcakes with blue or pink frosting.  My mom brought the cupcakes home and we had our family over for the big reveal. Guess' were pretty even, but most thought it would be another boy since we already have 3 our my side of the family.   And what we found inside was............

It is hard to see the color, but I am super excited!

You can see it better on "B's"

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

The weather has been perfect, and perfect for getting in the holiday spirit.  We spent the weekend after Thanksgiving decorating the house inside and out and putting up our Christmas tree.  Brayden loves his Little People nativity and the Christmas tree.

We have already been having so much fun getting outside and being apart of all the festivities around the valley, the best part is listening to B chatter away and get so excited about everything!

Last Friday we went to see some trains, which B absolutely loved, he didn't want to leave.  Then we headed to Cherry Street in Mesa.

The trains are amazing!  This family opens up their backyard 2 weekends every December for anyone to come see this guys hobby.  It is no hobby, it is amazing.  Their are a least 10 different tracks that go through the backyard, hundreds of trains, bridges to walk over to get to different paths, and it is like Thomas the train come to life.  AWESOME!

Cherry Street is always a family favorite too.  The entire street decks their house out in lights and one house even has a Bethlehem backyard that you can walk through and hear the story of Jesus birth.  Again, AWESOME!!

Love Him!

I love this Man!  He truly is more than I could have asked for.  He is an amazing daddy, husband, and best friend.  I know all wives (I hope) would say the same about there significant other, but everyday he reminds me how amazing he is without even trying!  I feel like the luckiest girl in the world and I would not want to go through this crazy journey called life with anyone else!

Love you Jas!!
