We are so in love!

Introducing Hadley Renae

After my doctors appointment on Wednesday, it was decided that my c-section would be moved up to Sunday the 6th.  As much as I thought it would be fun to have her on the 10th, the 6th sounded pretty good too.  I wanted to make sure Dr. Adams would deliver so moving up the date would hopefully guarantee she didn't come on her own.

We checked in at 7 am on Sunday morning with plans for a c-section at 9 am.  Everything went great on our end and was running right on time.  I had blood drawn, a few bags of IV's in me, and we were good to go.  Unfortunately a few other mom at the hospital were not having as easy of a day.  We got bumped because of emergency c-sections.

At 10:40 we were good to head back.  Jason had to wait outside the OR while they gave me a spinal and got me all prepped for surgery.  Once they were good they brought Jason, told me it was time to have a birthday party, and got going.  Hadley came out at 11:03 am with a love for "accessories".  The umbilical cord was around her neck and there was a true knot it and peeing on the doctor.  The doctor said we are very blessed that one or both of those things did not cause problems.

Jason then stayed with her to clean her up, we got a few photos together and then they took her off the the nursery for a bath, measurements, and for the grandparents and Brayden to meet her.  Being Brayden was so big, I was sure that she was going to be well into the 8 lbs.  However, much to everyones surprise she was only 7 lbs 14 oz and a tall 21 inches.

Jason then came back to recovery were we got to bond and was soon taken to our room and greeted by my favorite little buddy and out parents.  It was a great day and we have been blessed with another beautiful baby.  We praise the Lord for such a beautiful day and blessing.  Now we just enjoy our new little one and hope to go home on Tuesday.

Tiny feet compared to her big brother
So a wake.  I love her blond hair!
Brayden's first look up close and the present he got her.

Holding Baby sister and soooo excited about it.

 Our family of 4!
Zachy was so excited to meet Hadley, and brought her a bunny!
Brayden wanted to bring Hadley a happy birthday cake, and of course he sang to her.  It was very precious.  I love those 2!
Miss Hadley all dressed in her new gown!
It has been a long night.  She has been very alert and hungry,  I don't mind, I am happy to just look at her and feed her.  Maybe, I will get a nap in later.  Otherwise, we can sleep when we are dead, right?! :-)

The Birthday Boy!!

April 12, 2010 , 4:16pm, 9 lbs 9 oz 21.5 in

I can't believe he is 2 already!!
We had a great day yesterday and I think he had a lot of fun!  We were all tired by the end.  It started out with an early treat of balloons and pancakes!!

 30 seconds later! ha!

Then we headed to the Phx Children's Museum with Auntie Sara, Zach and Drew.  He could have stayed all day!!!

Then we went home took a nap and waited for Daddy to come home early. Once he got home we went to Toys R Us to use his special birthday coupon and money he got in the mail from the great grandmas.  We got a birthday crown, balloon, and he picked out a new train for his table - James of course! (forgot my camera in the car)

Then we met some of the family at Joes Farm Grill for dinner, cake, and a few presents.  I made and decorated the cake.  I will never get paid for my talents, but Brayden knew it was the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and that is all that matters.  It looks better if you squint! :-)

Probably our last family photo of 3!  :-)

This last one makes me laugh.  He wanted to play baseball in the house this morning, and since he doesn't hit it very hard, I went with it while we got ready to go.  He told me he needed a helmet and took off running.  He came back with his new glove and put it on his head.
I laughed out loud and grabbed the camera!
