Air Balloon Fiesta

We decided to take a last minute trip to Albuquerque to see the hot air balloon fiesta since it looks like our family that lives there will be living in AZ in the next year, YEA!  I really didn't know much about it, but Jason wanted to go and his parents were coming too, so I said sure.  Little did I know how involved it was.  We drove in Friday night at 7pm (6pm AZ) and I soon found out that we were taking a shuttle in since parking was going to be crazy, great, sounds good to me.  THEN I was told what time.  We needed to be out of the house at 4:45 am!!! That is 3:45 am here folks!!!  We got up at 4:15, on the bus by five and at the fiesta by 5:45.  It was early, but it was amazing.  They did a "glow" of a few balloons in the dark and then the huge event took place.  They put up almost 700 hot air balloons in 2 hours.  Not only was that cool, but you could go talk to the people and watch while they set up and took off.  These picture really don't do it justice.
